Hello and Please help me make a decision!
I'm searching for a new 32 inch TV mainly used for gaming and the occasional DVD or Blu-ray. Full HD is a must as well as a quality picture and low input lag and I also want to know if I can/should get 100hz as long as it doesn't cause input lag as I hear it would be good for viewing movies.

A few models I've got in mind are:
Panasonic Viera TXL32G10
Sony Bravia KDL-32v5500

and some older ones if they still are any good (contrast ratio worries me)
panasonic Viera TX-32LZD85
Sony KDL-32W4000

My Budget is around £600, hopefully below that figure.

Any recommendations on what TVs you have or any information you have would be fantastic! Please help!

PS I have this up on the AV forums also.

I have a 32'' sony its contrast is 8000:1...Its perfect...black looks like black not that blue looking stuff I get with my PC monitor...

With that size get a 720i since 1080i on that size wont make a difference only at 37'' and after should you get 1080i

The Panasonic TX32G10 is the best TV out of those. Good contrast. Good colour quality. Plus the 100hz screen really helps with motion. I'm assuming you live in the UK, in which case the G10 also has an inbuilt freesat tuner.

The Sony V5500 is a decent set, but not really in the same league as the G10.

The other two T.Vs you listed are discontinued models so you won't be able to buy them anymore. Regardless, the LZD85 is a cracking set. Very similar to the G10, but without the freesat tuner.
