Hey,I'm in need of a cheap 32' inch HD Television thats strictly 300 bucks or little over. I looked up Dynex and Sylvania and they look like good quality HD TV's for their prices. The Dynex is $299.99 and the Sylvania is $319.99. They're both 32 inches though they both have their pro's and con's. Anybody know any suggestions between these two telivisions and know which one I should most preferably get between the two? I would greatly appreciate the help.

I'd rather buy a better brand name refurb than either of those two brands. checkout slickdeals and gottadeal, there have been some CHEAP deals flying around.

Dynex, Sylvania, Insignia, Westinghouse are all 2nd and 3rd tier tvs. Lots of problems with those brands.

I have seen the Panasonic 32" X1 720p as low as 379.00 in a B&M (microcenter). I wouldn't be surprised to see that tv New at 325.00 to 350.00 in January.

I'd rather see you spend a little more, and get a 1st tier brand, than save a few dollars and get an offbrand.

I have spent years reading and looking at Flat Panels. I can afford what ever i want. I bought a Panasonic 37" 1080p (tc-L37S1) for the livingroom, and a Panasonic tc-L32X1 720p for the bedroom. Very good PQ on HD Cable; decent SD. SD DVDs played on the upconverting PS3 are so good, I stopped buying blu-rays. Black levels are good, color is very good, off angle viewing is great thanks to the IPS panels.

Games are great on either one. No motion blur, tearing, lag, or judder. I've been playing a lot of Battlefield: Bad Company, Bioshock, and Dead Space on the bedroom 720p, and they look and play beautiful.

Sorry for the really late responses, but yea I did major, major researches on those branded televisions! Heard the ups and downs on those HD TV Brands and I thought to myself; Why waste about 300 bucks on a cheaper branded television when I can settle for an even better brand thats trustworthy for a few more bucks? I settled for a 32' Samsung which was a great buy, don't regret it all. Dynex and Sylvania weren't all that good anyways, as so I heard.
