Is it just me or does the Witcher have the WEIRDEST character animations?

I mean characters will do ridiculously odd things (random gestures and poses) during conversation, along with other random characters popping in and walking through.

During some of the many ingame cutscenes, the actions of the characters sometimes feel out of place, out of sync, and just plain awkward.

Did you guys get this when you played through it?

It's no worse than in any BioWare/Bethesda/Obsidian game (except for Mass Effect)

Not sure it it was part of its charm as it never really bothered me -- Ive seen worse or ones that are so ridiculous that they are somewhat entertaining (Divinity 2); I prefer an attempt at gestures rather than seeing monotonous zombies in Oblivion.

I find it endearing. :P

Actually, I had some animation problems at times. It never ruined the game for me though.

It doesn't bother me, the engine used in The Witcher is an updated version of the Aurora Engine, the same one used in Neverwinter Nights. I wouldn't expect much, seriously.
