Will an Alienware case work with common setups?

I'm just wondering because I'm looking to get a new case real soon.

I heard x51 case can double or triple your performance over a custom case.

i personnaly enjoy colors that compliment each other well across the case and a nice curved top such as a bitfenix colossus or an in-win griffin

Alien Cases look like crap they probably have bad airflow too :P

I like cases like Haf X,Nzxt Phantom and the cm 690 II nvidia edition

I prefer plain cases well, but that Nvidia case is sweet looking.

yes, but it's off topic. He asked for advice on alienware cases and then the discussion went from alienware cases to the styling which is completely subjective
it should have gone in the direction of cases that look like alienware cases
