Give me the name, make / model and why you like it so much for gaming. I use a wiresless mircosoft optical mouse with a scroll wheel. It says "Wireless optical mouse 2.0" on the bottom. What do you use?

Razer Copperhead

I like it because of the software that comes with it.  You can fine tune the mouse to your likings in every aspect possible.

I use Logitech g7 wireless laser mouse. Id suggest, if getting a nice mouse to get wireless, because it is much more free. I also like the G7 because it comes with 2 rechargeable batteries, so you dont need to constantly buy AA batts for the mouse. Feel one in a store first if possible, i really like the G7 because it is larger than any mouse i have ever owned, and i have ratehr large hands/long fingers so it fits me well.

As far as comfort and software i would go with a logitech. Iv'e got a mx 518 and the logitech software is way better than razer's. I ordered a copperhead and after taking it out of the box and feeling it, i was doubtful so i gave it a try and it moved nicely but the mouse was just very uncomfortable to hold and the buttons weren't in the best positions.... i sent it back to newegg.com and got the mx518 as a replacement. The razer software you must choose the saved settings for it to operate....i.e. if you want  to run a game you will have to choose config 1 2 3 4 or 5 and when you go to your desktop and you want to browse pages you would have to switch it back to the original config to use the side buttons as back/forward browser buttons.......but the logitech software will detect the game automatically and switch it's settings to whatever game your playing. Logitech all the way

Ditto. I have the same mouse. It's the best mouse I've ever used. Improved my accuracy in CSS. Glides like butter and is super accurate. Looks real sweet especially the pulsating Razer logo (the blue glow matches my logitch g15 ftw :p)

I prefer Rosewill RM-408 Gaming Lazer Mouse. It has 6 buttons, rubber grip for your thumb, and fast dpi switching on the fly 800-1600-2000dpi.  Glides as if on air. =)

Logitech G5 Gaming Mouse, I forgot to write why i like it ... and there really isn't any reason, it was given to me as a gift from my dad, and i like it better then my old mouse a Logitech mx510. I do find it alot smoother though, which i guess is a plus =P

Hmm.. I have long fingers too, and I prefer a smaller mouse. I have both the copperhead and a diamondback. I prefer the feel of the diamondback a bit better but the copperhead has better specs so I use that one.. besides it matches my case. I don't like the positions of the side buttons much...it could use some ergonomic improvement... but not anywhere in the direction of logitechs mice... don't like them at all. They're way too big and all the logitechs product I've ever used have had crap software.

I use a Razer Diamondback as well.  I have tried pretty much every mouse out and I found this one the be the best fit for me.  It irritates me that it took me so long to get away from microsoft and logitech and find these things.

After using the Logitech MX517, MC518, and G7, I have to say that I love the MX518.  The G7 is a fine mouse...the battery is just a tad on the short-lived side.  Even though I love the crimson color scheme on the 517, the MX518 just feels "right" (plus the sensitivity buttons are placed in just the right places).

LOL. I use a cheap OEM no name brand optical mouse I got for $1.50. It's made by Logitec I believe (has same shape, dpi etc of the original Logitech optical mouse). Not sure though, it's called a "Hip Gear" mouse just in case anyone knows them and who makes them.

I like it because the price was right, it fits my hand perfect (i hate "smallish" size mice) and it does the job great for everything I use it for. I need good precision with a mouse as I use it not just for gaming but for all kinds of graphics programs from PhotoShop to CAD programs and believe it or not, this little $1.50 mouse rocks. :D
