i have been having trouble with gamespot so far, and would like to know a good site that is reliable, has no viruses, and downloads relatively quickly

Filefront is the way to go. Fastest DL speeds, no wait, free, and accessible. Gamershell is a nice alternative if the servers aren't full.

I get demos from fileplanet and I don't pay. There is like a 30 minute wait, but it doesn't bother me becausee the download is pretty fast.

Gamer's Hell is pretty sucky in comparison, the saving grace is that it's free.

Filefront is great (not compatible with DLM's though)

FanGaming is great (www.fangaming.com) free, lots of ads, but it's REALLY fast.

GameDaily is also great, free, also REALLY fast, though sometimes too fast for downloads.

Fileplanet is junk, I simply hate them so that's an opinion, try it yourself - wait times and their spyware + crappy as hell Gamespy service.

All those members-only websites are junk. gameupdates.org is a great site to download from if you have BitTorrent. Plenty of seeders and I get around 700kb-1000kb/sec.
