If you build one yourself you can have double the power.

So what will you do?

First choice is of course build it yourself.

If that's not an option then choice two is get a refurbished i5 desktop for $400-450 and then replace the powersupply + add a decent graphics card in there

If you don't want to do that then get the i5 refurb and get the 750ti graphics card (shouldn't require adding a new powersupply although performance/future video card upgrades will suffer as a result).

Build yourself it is easy and you will not regret it.

For $700, this system would serve you much better than either of the prebuilts. It has more ram, more than 2x the gpu power, an actual dedicated gpu, larger power supply, much better cpu, etc. and I'm almost certain that the price could be dropped a bit further, or more powerful parts could be gotten for the same price.

That SSD would greatly improve overall snappiness of tasks and, in my opinion, would make browsing and simply using the computer much more bearable and enjoyable.
