Heres my new build to replace my aging P67 2600K.
The CPU cooler is just place holder. They don't have an ETA on the H110i GTX.

Like it though I don't really see the point in 4K just yet and I don't need to mention the TX.
Mouse?
Very similar to my rig =)
Edit just noticed 2x TX's WTF?
I recognise that OCUK basket anywhere :)
@Truth_Hurts_U: Ha, I didn't spot that!
@clyde46: Yeah, bin that 4K and get the Swift or it's IPS brethren, it's on offer this week!!
@clyde46: Anything from G-Skill, Corsair is great. Depends how much you want to spend on it and how much you need.

Not too bothered about price just not extravagant, minimum is 32GB.
Minimum is 32 GB? What exactly will you be doing that will actually make use of 32 GB?
It's just speed and colour and size
These if you want Black but they are only 2400MHz
They don't seem to have many 32Gb kits above 2400MHz
There is always Some 2666MHz doms
2 Titan X's make me feel very inadequate...........
.........and I start looking at GPU's
I'm going to have the cash so why not!
Either of these would be a good choice for DDR4 RAM
http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MY-415-CS&groupid=701&catid=8&subcat=2557 - Would keep the black theme going
http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MY-176-GL&groupid=701&catid=8&subcat=2557 - The heat spreader is bright red so it may spoil the black and gold colour scheme
If you don't top the benchmark thread with that beast there's something very wrong :)
@clyde46: If you can afford it you may as well if you're going with 2 TX's.
So what's the final basket?
Video editing?...
1.5TB isn't going to cut it especially if you are gamer on top of that.
My D800E is throwing out raw 14-Bit files of 74MB.
I would recommend a 1TB SSD drive as a boot drive and 2x 2TB WD Black's in RAID 0 for storage.
@clyde46:
I would say build a Mini ITX system, normal sized builds are a thing of the past if you don't plan on SLI/Cross... Even if you plan on SLI/Cross it isn't worth it since by the time you're taking advantage of the setup there's already a single card out that does the job for less and better.

1200W is an overkill, a good 1000W PSU (EVGA 1000 G2/P2, CM V1000, Corsair HX1050) will get the job done.
@clyde46:
My conversions are a little rusty, but isn't that like over $6000?! That is insane! You could literally make a PC for half of the cost that runs amazing.
o.o I rather put that on a down payment for a type r.
*slow claps* This is some truly master-race stuff.

Two Titans is overkill, one would be enough to play any game on max settings (or do whatever you need to do). 4K is not needed since there isn't anything that really supports it except for Netflix. Its just way over priced. If money is no object then go for it, but that build is absolutely ridiculous. I spent about $2000 on my build and I can run any game on max settings. You could cut your cost in half and still be fine.
One Titan is still not enough for 4k. The 4970k although a great gaming CPU is woefully out gunned when used for editing and crunching which is what this rig will be doing most the time.
4k is needed. Why bother playing at 1080p? I'll get a console if I wanted to do that. Whether it's native 4k or down sampling I want to be able to play the latest games at the best possible res. more and more games are coming with native 4k support my old chum.

Its still all overkill, but its your money.
Ditch the 500gb EVO SDD, Get a Samsung xp941 512GB or
faster Samsung sm951 512GB if you can find one. Use as your Boot Drive
Optical Drive ?
Operating system ?
Better thermal compound than what Corsair gives you ?
With SLI Titan X and a 5930k may be worth it to get better fans for your case (Move that hot air out, More CFM)
