Any video card higher than the Nvidia 7900 and Ati 1900 will be able to handle that resolution with max settings and AA. I run a 7900gt @1680x1050 with 4xAA on games like Company of heroes and it chugs along nicely at 35-40 fps,Might get higher when I add a dual core cpu. Some games don't support widescreen resolutions so they have to be modded to run in widescreen,Like BF2142 runs at 1280x960 but with a minor tweak to the start command it displays at my screen's native resolution.

Wow, you could get a very nice video card for that price. :) What are your system specs? And how long do you plan on keeping the rest of your system?
