Poll Wasteland 2 or Pillars of Eternity (40 votes)

Wasteland 2 23%
Pillars of Eternity 73%

Which one should I buy? They both look fun and I'm willing to pay full price for either but not both at the moment. So gamespot tell which one should I spend my money on first.

Havent played either, but im fairly certain pillars of eternity will win the votes because

1. Its basically a new Balders gate game

2. Apparently wastelands plays like a console game .

Now ill sit back and see how the poll turns out

I've only put like 10 hours into PoE but so far I'd give the nod to Wasteland 2. I think both games have great writing but I just found W2's world more interesting and its loot more exciting. So far the loot in PoE has been kinda lame.

Both games have great writing though and i'm still enjoying Pillars, I think it probably has the better combat system overall and probably better characters but only time will tell if I end up considering it the better game.

Both are great in their own field ... PoE is more fantasy-ish, W2 is more "realistic" in a post-apo-f*cked-up-world kind of a way ... Superb writing on both sides though, and the music is also something great to just listen to ...

I picked Pillars, it's just closer to the perfect RPG style for me. I did enjoy Wasteland 2 however.

I selected Pillars, but you honestly can't go wrong with either game. PoE and W2 are both fantastic games and worth the purchases.

I haven't played either one but Pillars looks more promising.

Wasteland 2 wasn't very great. Pillars Of Eternity was, I'd recommend that over Wasteland 2 in a heartbeat.

Depends on the theme you like the most, both are excellent.

Don't forget about Divinity Original SIn

As much as I am liking PoE, and I am, I'm going to have to go with Wasteland 2. Mostly because i like turn-based combat a lot more than RtwP and I prefer the sci-fi setting in Wasteland 2. The original Wasteland was also the game that turned me on to CRPGs so, yeah, there's that, too.

I'm still on Wasteland 2, 20 hours in and it's very enjoyable, very challenging and the writing's intriguing so I'll give a nod to that. Any game that I can spend hours on and still want to play more gets a thumbs up in my book. PoE looks more polished and visually nicer, but I've always been a sucker for post apocalyptic settings.

I cannot comment on POE but Wasteland 2 is a fun game. I got sidetracked on Elder Scrolls Online so I haven't finished it but I really liked it.

Loving Pillars actually mate.... it brings back Baldurs memories.

Probably will never finish it (Witcher 3 is around the corner), but I'll have it installed always just to play it from time to time.
