So steam has the the complete pack on steam right now for $100! it includes dawn of war, winter assault, dark crusade, soulstorm, dawn of war 2, dawn of war 2 chaos rising, dawn of war 2 retribution, all dlc for the entire dawn of war 2 series, AND SPACE MARINE!

space marine also comes with the blood ravens pack and a copy of darksiders when you pre-order so i guess you'll those as well.

now my question is, do you guys think this pack is worth it? especially if you've never played any of the warhammer games?

ive never played any of them but ive been wanting to for a long time now. what do you guys think?

i broke down my purchase decisions like this:

dawn of war 1 complete and dawn of war 2 complete with no dlc =$55

dawn of war 1 complete and dawn of war 2 complete with all dlc = $80

all that, + space marine, darksiders copy and blood ravens pack = $100

i cant make up my mind...i wish the dlc was 50% individually as well if i wanted to buy them all separately. PLEASE HELP!

any input on the series would be much appreciated guys. THANKS IN ADVANCE

Daw Of War one until Dark Crusade is a masterpiece in PvP. My favourite rts, even over Starcraft. But currently the community isn't huge. Outside that, the game is great. The fisrt campaign is good, but the sp in Winter Assault and Dark Crusade are a bit weak. The third expansion is SoulStorm, most of people don't like it.

I bought 2 times DoW II, I did't like too much neither sp or mp, but I end buying the Complete Edition. A lot of changes over the DoW I gameplay.

I'll buy Space Marine; the editor is awesome and the mp has potential... maybe.

That's months of gameplay and a perfect introduction to the Warhammer 40k universe. Based on your sig, go for it. Buy the $100 pack. There's a lot of variety between the base games and their expansions, you're in no danger of getting bored.

I find it hard to play Dawn of War now that StarCraft 2 is out. Its just so much slower and unresponsive.

Also I have to say that the single player for DoW 2 is awfully weak.

DoW2 was a let down. DoW1 is still my favorite RTS of all time. DoW2 was all about hero micromanaging. DoW1 was about macro map control.

hmmm thats alot of good feedback from all of you. i am a huge starcraft fan and player. sometimes i get burnt out on starcraft 2 since its really the only rts i play (i played starcraft1 and broodwar for 13 years) and i would like to start trying a new rts. i like the warhammer setting and i think i could have fun with it. plus it comes with space marine. i wanna bite, but sometimes i dunno if i should wait for teh winter sale to see if it'll be even cheaper by then?

We have no idea if Space Marine is gonna be good or not. I would honestly just wait, or buy one or two Dawn of War games as samples.

i just wish they went 75% on the dawn of war complete pack without space marine and i would buy it in a heart beat! im on the edge to just wait and see what they bring to the table during winter sale, especially since i dont know if space marine is worth it (it looks cool tho). i also dont usually buy games on launch, i usually wait for a crazy steam sale.

It's a shame that the Space Marine demo isn't coming out until AFTER this package deal is over. I'm sure there would be a lot more buyers if they had some confidence that Space Marine will be good.

Ehmm guys. Steam software client says 50 euros for the complete pack, their website says 100 euros. Which one is real?

Here is the screenshot where it says 50 euros, taken just 3 min ago.

does the EU version on your side include space marine? cuz the screenshot you posted only shows a small portion of the pack. if it doesnt include space marine i would understand why its 50 euros.

IF it does include space marine, omg i am jealous because that translates roughly to about $75 right?

Totally agree. Too much micro-ing ruined Dow2 for me. It still is an awesome game but i miss playing 3v3 on maps like Kasyr Lutien or 4v4 on Sharr.

On topic : I'd go for that 50 euro deal except i just about have everything except the TBR Space marine game which i'm not too keen on. Skip the DLC's if you're strapped for cash its just a pointless waste. The gear only matters in last stand mode otherwise the novelty fades real quick.
