I recently bought a gts 250 1gb for my acer ax3950, but when i tried to put it in it did not fit. I want to play Battlefield 3. What is a video card that will fit but will also play battlefield 3 at 60 fps (low)?

Have you got another PCI-E port you could try it in? It make make a little difference. If not I assume you have a micro-ATX case (or the other small ones) . Best bet is to buy a bigger case if your motherboard supports it. Or if you want it on the cheap and are hands on, you could cut a bit out of the hard drive docks, provided it can dock the one (or more) you already have.

The main question is, what exactly makes it not fit - is the fan on the card too big, is it a dual-slot cooler design, or is it too long to fit? If your computer is one of the 'slim' style, you're going to have a hard time finding any other decent low-profile video cards, and you're likely also going to need a new power supply to be able to meet the 250's requirements. Also, if your computer is a 'slim', it's going to be hard to find a replacement power supply that would also fit.

This reminds me of recently when I had to put my old ati 3870x2 into an older PC i had. It was only a mid sized case and I could barely fit the thing cause they put the damn power connectors at the very end of the card instead of ontop of the card
