I got a p5n-e SLI board. I'm hooking my 8800gts up to it. I put on the DVI adaptor to vga, and yet I get no signal from it. It doesn't make sense to me. My monitor works with my 360, so I know its working fine. Is this a mobo problem or is it a video card problem. How do I fix it. or am I shafted?

Also, when I remove my video card the mobo makes no beeps. Which shouldn't happen right?

Well you are most likely converting the signinal from dvi to vga, So try gettign another converter, and is your psu giving enough energy..

Its a 600 watt psu, so it should be fine ,and this is the only adaptor I have. Where could I locate another one?

Can you try the video card in another computer? And what is your brand and model of PSU? Did you plug the power cable in the video card? Also try with only one DIMM of memory and try different DIMM positions. Disconnect all the non-essential stuff in the computer too, keep only the PSU/mobo/CPU/memory/video card.

I've never been able to see my bios. So I don't think I messed anything up. I've never been able to get  a picture. Wah, I wanna cry. I've been working on this for 2 days now.

THe psu is plugged into the card. If its not it makes a high pitched EEEEEEEEEEEEEEE sound. So I doubt thats the problem. It might be broke. I'm gonna call BFG tech tomorrow.
