I am upgrading to a new video card, a 7870. I have an Antec 500W PS with two +12v rails rated at 18A each. I noticed that this card requires two 6 pin adapters. My power supply only has one, so I am buying this adapter. I am just wondering if any of you pros can tell me if this card will work with my power supply, which is this one.

Thanks. Is PowerColor considered bad? had one in 2008, a radeon card, I think. I don't remember having any problems with it. Anyway, the Powercolor is $40 less expensive. :(

The R9 270X are the same GPUs but slight faster, you can go with a good brand with the same module you picked http://www.amazon.com/Sapphire-DL-DVI-I-SL-DVI-D-PCI-Express-100354OC-2L/dp/B00A2J4ROE/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1387570119&sr=8-1&keywords=7870

you do not need to buy adapters because gpu's tend to supply them. Then also you can pick up a Gigabyte R270 with a free copy of BF4 for $180
