Got some screenshots of my characters to share : D
My mesmer is cute!!!
She can't fire a rifle but she did the training for it anyway xD
Then there's my badass Engie!
And finally an obligatory OBJECTION from our favorite mesmer!!!
So can you wear Armor that's radically different from the Armor you start out with? or is it just all in the numbers? (meaning no change in the Armor, but change in the stats.)
if you want to look at all the armor sets, hop into the PvP lobby and look for a PvP locker (once you're done with the PvP tutorial). you can preview anything there, even if you don't have the items yet.So can you wear Armor that's radically different from the Armor you start out with? or is it just all in the numbers? It needed a new sticky. There were like 3 GW2 threads appearing every day, with the same arguments and discussions.
Well, there's a new build that went up today. Some patch notes:
General
Camera
Dungeons
Caudecuss Manor
Twilight Arbor
Story
World versus World
Profession
Elementalist
Engineer
Guardian
Mesmer
Necromancer
Ranger
Thief
I just reccently transfered to Fort Aspenwood from Tarnished Coast (Only joined because a friend did, I don't RP so it didn't work out).
I'm aware Aspenwood is the "unoffical" Gamespot server, but is there a Gamespot guild or anything along those lines? I'm only asking because I'm all alone now :c I tried looking about at some of the other GW2 threads to see if anyone mentioned anything but I'm still unsure.

BrunoBRS invited me to his Guild and there are guys who recognized me there.
yeah, just drop a PM in game to my character (Zihark Darshell) and you'll get an invitation next time i'm on. we're surprisingly still active, getting like 15 of the 75 members online at the same time.I just reccently transfered to Fort Aspenwood from Tarnished Coast (Only joined because a friend did, I don't RP so it didn't work out).

full vigil? no messing around for the perfect hybrid armor like everyone else? shame on you :P there's almost no metallic parts on that armor :/ or do you just not keep textures and reflections on maximum?**** yeah I have hit level 80 with my guardian!:D It was a great journey to go through and yet there still tons of stuff to do, but eventually I start shifting focus to my Engineer. Also gotten the armor set I wanted:
I love the Vigil armor a lot.:]

i like some of the lesser armors tbh i havent really seen a good armor set for my guardian omitting norn cultural. so for now i rock the beserkers skin. though i may go to that hawt lvl 60 karma skin from teh zone vendors.

I like the armor a lot.:x I actually didn't get the helmet through, but that because it won't matter which one I wear so I will find a helmet with different stats compare to the rest of the armor. And I have my settings on medium, so maybe that could be it.
i just mean that, for a heavy armor, it all looks very leatherish :Pi like some of the lesser armors tbh i havent really seen a good armor set for my guardian omitting norn cultural. so for now i rock the beserkers skin. though i may go to that hawt lvl 60 karma skin from teh zone vendors.
ionusX
and pretty sure "beserker" is actually a "cIass" of armor, like rampager, carrion, shaman, etc. weapons and armors labelled "beserker" give power, precision, and critical damage
you should try going on the PvP locker and mixing up various armors for a unique look.I like the armor a lot.:x I actually didn't get the helmet through, but that because it won't matter which one I wear so I will find a helmet with different stats compare to the rest of the armor. also, don't forget that you can always transmute the stats (if you want to keep your vigil look on an exotic armor you'll have to do it). can't remember how much it is for a 5-pack of fine transmutation stones (aka the ones that work on lv80 gear), but it was cheap. i think 200 gems.

Maybe I will but honestly I don't care a lot.:P I will keep the transmutation in mind for sure through.
Edit: Here the armor in max settings:
Shame I can't run the higher settings well.:/
I want to start another Mesmer here at some point.Honestly I feel like restarting my engineer. I feel like he was a after thought like I should have mess around with appearance a bit more and have chosen asparring partner that isn't in the same class as me. Maybe I should do that since he is low leveled.
Wanderer5

Yeah agree, so I will get on to that, plus it would be awkward meeting that other Legionnaire Steelheart.:P Hm might choose Dinky as a sparring partner this time.

well charr surnames are chosen by the cub once they finish the warband training, or something like that.[QUOTE="Wanderer5"][QUOTE="BrunoBRS"] do it. better now than later and having regrets.BrunoBRS

he can't do it anymore, the scrambled hotkeys messed him up :P but do those things even deal damage? as far as i know, "cleansing darts" only remove conditions from allies they hit.Wanderer5, I see a Greatsword on the back of your Guardian #Spin2Win.

You mean that spinning attack? It okay, but I don't get the Spin2Win.:P
And oh I guess they did change the hot keys a bit. I thought I did something weird lol.
Edit: Ah I see it there in the notes, well okay, through kind of sucks that symbol of wrath's recharge rate was raise up.>_> I also had notice that hiding helmet/shoulder pads are also hidden during the character select, which is pretty nice.
me and my buddy Nitrowing, chilling out after 4 manning the Asura path on Caudecus Manor explorable. we originally had 5, but a guy ragequited. better for us, we didn't wipe after he left.
also the colors are just one of my little experiments :P
BrunoBRS
Lol I guessing that guy was a random?:P Which area did he ragequit?

you were with us on the asura path, right? remember that area full of mobs that we tried to sneak by, but couldn't? well there was a way to sneak by. problem is, the necro would always accidentally agro the mob, and we couldn't figure out why. once we did figure it out (his pets were running at the mob on the other side of the room, instead of worrying about the more present threat), he was too angry and left. something about his guild waiting for him and him being easily replaceable. he was right about the latter. we didn't even need to replace him to finish the dungeon without any wipes. the final boss was surprisingly easy.I've been loving Guild Wars 2 so far. I'm pretty much a WoW player, but Guild Wars has made for a great pasttime / distraction. Definitely glad I purchased it, and I'm happy there's a Mac client. I blog about it on lootit if anyone's interested in a slightly more detailed write up of my experience and some screenshots. I love how it's not a traditional MMO, i.e. go get a quest, kill 10 things, come back, go get 10 other things, come back... But rather there's a living, breathing world happening all around you. Also loving the art style. Neat stuff.

Also when did you take that pic my guy looks like his angry at someting lol.
