Yeah, I wish they would give us Steam people the expansion. This is probably the last time I buy such a current game via Steam, regardless of whose fault it is that we don't have the expansion yet.
Voice acting in this game was so bad it was good. The avatar said some of the funniest things I've ever heard in a game. Some of my favorites are, "That's what you get" after killing an enemy. He even sang, "It's raining, it's pouring. The old mang is snoring" once while it was raining
Can't wait for the sequel.
I'm glad some people were able to look past the game's faults and enjoy it. It is a deeper RPG than Oblivion with a lot of good things added to the game to make it even better than Oblivion.
For example the way your character is meant to be a jack of all trades is better than Oblivion letting you pick classes and then forcing you to become a jack of all trades.
Ranged combat works wonderfully in Two Worlds. If you actually hit someone with an arrow, they actually stumble instead of keep on charging like they do in Oblivion.
Also you have to work the factions properly or you can miss out on certain quests.
The world was a bit more varied and there was much more life.
The world felt progressive. there were side quests where the towns would literally get wiped out and when you go back to that place, it was nice to see that they stayed wiped out.

I'm pretty sure arrows could momentarily stop enemies in their tracks in Oblivion.
One thing that Two Worlds clearly beats Oblivion in is horse riding. Now, horse riding was given a lot of criticism when the game came out and rightly so. I played the demo and it was pretty crappy. But after playing the 1.6 updated version I could see a big difference in horse riding. It felt a lot better. It was still a little sloppy but much better than Oblivion's horses, which could only go at a snail's past or a full gallop.
The version should have been called "Patch of the Year". I believe it was the first gaming patch that clocked the 1GB mark....

Only if you got a critical hit would they stumble. Two Worlds made bow combat so easy and functional that it was the first time I made a ranger character and not a theif... partially because the sneaking was pretty broken in Two Worlds.
