Top PC Games: HELP ME PICK 2!

Half Life 2 (Great single player FPS, also comes with Counter Strike: Source, which is a great multi player FPS)

&

Guild Wars (No monthly fee, and it's a solid online RPG with PvE & PvP)

WOW is extra money and if ur going to pay money like that u might as well buy more than 2 top notch pc games than pay a monthly fee. If u like rpg's u can get guild wars anyway.

okay...i'd say Guild Wars for your RPG. because of the no monthly fee and it is just as good as WoW IMHO.

then either UT2k4, BF2 or HL2.

for UT2k4...i have it, and it is amazing. the singleplayer is nothing like half life, but the multiplayer is the best out there (tied with BF2 probably)

HL2...great singleplayer and multiplayer, but the multiplayer is a little behind the other two

BF2...amazing multiplayer, substantial singleplayer, basically like UT2k4 with the two gameplays

if you are looking for a low price tag, get UT2k4, i got it a year ago i think and i just played it this morning, so it will last you a while and its graphics are not lacking, and the gamplay is superb. if you want a good singleplayer along with a very above average multiplayer, get HL2. if you like more realistic games and want an amazing multiplayer, then go for BF2 which is great.

overall i'd go with BF2 to complement your Guild Wars, and wait for UT2007 to come out next year.

Doom 3 & Unreal Tournament 2004.

Funny thing about Doom 3...I bought it when it first came out and thought it was a good game but not a great game. While I still feel that way now, I'm playing through it for the third time now and like it more each time I play it. That's very weird, usually with games I most enjoy my first time through and then it goes downhill from there. Doom 3 is an exception in my experience. Your mileage may vary.

Unreal Tournament 2004 is a decent game and has decent bots if you don't want to play online.

I'm just curious, what's the monthly fee for battlefield 2?
