I'm considering picking up either the PNY "vanilla" GTX970 (e.g. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814133564)
Or the Zotac with mild factory OC (e.g. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814500362)
Can get them on pretty good sales with some coupons I have, which is why I'm considering these brands. The PNY looks louder and hotter with its cooling solution, but some googling reveals it might have a better heatsink over the RAM chips themselves. I've had good experiences with PNY GeForce cards in the past, haven't tried Zotac.
