The Wolf Among Us is far better than The Walking Dead

Title says it all. I'm a huge fan of The Walking Dead but Telltales new game, The Wolf Among Us, is far better in every way.

Absolute must buy if you were a fan of The Walking Dead, this game will blow you away.

Love em both, pretty evenly. But damn did this get off to a great start. Definatly better than episode 1 of TWD, but they are really two totally different styles of games. It does some stuff better than TWD forsure, such as it is smoother, better combat and I like the art design more aswell.

Telltale sure can do justice to good comic books! Two thumbs up as a fan of the comics!

I certainly expect them to get better as they progress and make more games following the success of TWD. Looking forward to Wolf.

I really enjoyed TWD. However, I'm not a big fan of the whole episodic content. If I buy it, I'll probably just wait for all the episodes to be available.

I'm definitely going to get it, only question is whether I go episode by episode or wait for them all to come out. Not a huge number of PC releases for the rest of October so I expect i'll go episode by episode.

Both are great games. But I really wish Telltale would make another proper adventure game. Like a new Sam & Max or Monkey Island.

This does look really good. I'm going to wait to see if it comes down a little more in price, though. I'm sure it's worth the 24.99 now, but I've got a hunch there will be a sale soon. . .

I am a huge zombie-fanatic and I'll even go as far to say this looks better than TWD. "Looks." Can't wait to pick this one up in a couple of months when I have the time to play it and sit down and enjoy it. But I agree with Cwagmire, the main purpose of my wait is the time factor, but might as well wait for the complete episodes.

I like the choices more in this game. They feel like everything you do has an impact on the other characters' attitude towards you, and that you control the story more than the way you did in TWD. It feels more Heavy Rain-ish than TWD did. And that is definitely an improvement.

I've just bought it and downloading it now.

I hope it's good, I've never read the comics or that.

I've got to agree. I just played the first episode and immediately went and bought a collection of Fables graphic novels. I'm hooked!

Its hardly surprising that the game improved upon TWD formula. Although it is a little surprising just how similar they both are.

I love The Walking Dead and I'm 100% sure that I'll buy this one too but just not right now. I need to wait until they release one or two more Episode because I hate to wait. In The Walking Dead I like it so much and want to know what happens next that I just couldn't sleep and keep play until the morning lol

Does it have the save game problems that plagued TWD?

Ended up getting it, used a 25% off voucher on GMG that was listed for Batman but it worked for this as well. Then used 10 dollars GMG credit I had from pre-ordering BF4.

So I only payed 8.75 in total. I'll start playing it this evening.

it's on my to-do list behind blacklist but there's quite a few good game releasing soon. might just wait until all the episodes have released before starting
