Hi everyone,

Suggest me medium range PC build ( not expensive build as i don't want to run all games at ultra ) which can play games as Dead Rising 3, Ryse at High settings, also will last me for minimum next 3-5 years.

GPU (atleast 2 gb GPU),CPU (a good i5 cpu, i7 seems expensive for me or should i better save for i7 only ?),MOBO,RAM,POWER SUPPLY. Currently i've Win 7 64 bit.

Please suggest guys :)

CPU - 4670k

Mobo - Any z97 chipset

RAM - 8GB of anything

GPU - R9 280 or GTX760 (or wait for 9xx series)

PSU - 650watt of Antec, Corsair, Coolermaster is plenty.

I don't know your budget but here's a build with one of the best i5's and high end GPU under a $1000 - http://pcpartpicker.com/p/nc7RnQ

Yes easily, and I assumed you were reusing the HDD and case from your current PC.

no no, very expensive compared to US ( Its cause of taxes i guess ). See for yourself as GTR12 suggested on r9 280 :

http://www.flipkart.com/computers/computer-components/graphic-cards/pr?q=r9+280x&as=on&as-show=on&otracker=start&sid=6bo%2Cg0i%2C6sn&as-pos=1_1_ic

Would take me above 40,000 already on GTR12 specs, i'm not a rich guy, need to save up lol.

@indzman:

Save up quickly, the r9 280 is out of production, its replaced by the r9 285 so it'll be on sale/might disappear quickly.

You can use other sites too in order to find the best prices and you can order each part seperately.

Flipkart

The IT Depot

Lynx Chandigarh

Swami PC

Techshop

Shopmania

MD Computers

Prime ABGB Tech Heaven

Ordering the best prices, not only will make you spend less money but if you still want to use the same amount, you can buy more powerful parts overall...

Here's what I'll say as someone who's had the same PC for 5 years.

It's "almost" entirely up to you how long it lasts.

It's very easy to build a mid-range PC that'll last that long assuming you understand it will not magically max every game that comes out.

With that said, my PC does actually play 99% of PC games at high or max simply because most PC games aren't all that demanding, but I'm not going to expect it to run the upcoming Witcher 3 at high, or even medium, but I don't doubt it'll still be playable considering my PC is still about equal to the specs of the PS4 and Xbox One (which is sad).

And what you can build for $700-$800 nowadays would just smoke my current PC.

This. Even when some people don't like to accept it and act as if this is the System Wars board, as long as you have something that is around the power of the consoles you are almost assured that the vast majority of games will run for as long as those consoles are around.
