Hey guys, I was trying to play some Bad Company 2 but when I tried starting the game Steam said that it was "Scanning for Game Updates" and I tried leaving it but it does nothing. It does it for every game now, and TF2 is even stuck on Download Starting. Anyone know how to fix this?

Might just be a Steam hickup. Dont worry about it. Happened to me but I think it was just a new thing.

Try disabling the auto update then re-enabling it.
