Sound issues with using HDMI

I hooked up my pc to my tv so that i could play on my couch using a controller using a hdmi cable, but for some reason i'm only get sound from the tv during cut scenes and than it swithes to the pc speakers during gameplay. Do you guys know how to fix this issue? Thanks!

in sound control set hdmi (digital audio) as default
