Slow month... need game advice.

So in anticipation for Metro Redux I dont really know what I should play right now and want to kill some time before traveling.

Some games I have on my mind are Resident Evil 6, MGS: Revengeance, Ghost Recon Future Soldier & Dead Space 3.

None of them games are stellar I guess but I have already played most of the AA+ games released in recent years.

dead space 3 is pretty good though but i don't know what your taste is .

ghost recon or anything tom clancy is something i would never play

There's your problem right there. There are hundreds of awesome non-AA games out there.

But from your list,

- Dead Space 3 is good but not as good as 1-2. Still need to play it to finish the story arc.

- Future Soldier is actually quite fun.

Yes Im aware of it that there is lots of potentially great games with lower ratings but unfortunatley I rely all to often on scores when making a purchase because lets be honest this hobby can be quite expensive :)

I could give Dead Space 3 a chance. I dont think that its that big of a deal that they made it more action oriented instead of survival horror.

I'd say since you are interested in playing the Metro games than you may also like the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. games.

I you aren't sure that you want to buy them from Steam then try out Lost Alpha. Which is free and it is basically what S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Shadow of Chernobyl should have been.

@brodelin: +2 for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. (with the Complete Mod) . If you liked Metro you will love S.T.A.L.K.E.R. even more. Metro was heavily influenced by S.T.A.L.K.E.R.

I knew that there was missing content in S.T.A.L.K.E.R. but I didn't know people created a Complete Mod like KOTOR 2.

Hmmm I think I will play it again after all these years :P

Do not bother getting Sacred 3, despite being a slow gaming month.

@Coseniath: It doesn't add any content. It's just better graphics, improved and more sound effects, better A.I., and some bug fixes. It's really nice though.

MGS: Revengeance - go for it. Same for Future Soldier!

Dead Space 3? Hmm, if you've played the first 2 (which are IMO, better than 3), not so sure...

If you want an MMO (Sci-Fi), look for FireFall on Steam. And get friends to play with you.

@jesslee099: Mammoth, most def. I'm just new to it too, but it's been my only, and worth it, purchase, as of yet. Googled which one was best for solo-play.

Some Wildstar for social fun and Firefall for some nice shooting and relaxing :)

MGS Revengance is amazing [i played it on ps3 tho]

A lot of people said wildstar gets utterly boring after you get the half way trough whats your comment on that game? I wanted to buy it but kinda too expensive for me , and they didnt announce sale numbers so i dont want to play on dead servers few months later then my purchase
