Im thinking about going SLi with my 560 Ti.. Would i need another Nvidia card of the same model and make? or could SLi with a 570 for example?

Can only be with another 560Ti, technically can and get one from a different maker and it *should* work but it's usually best-practice to get two of the exact same cards if you can.Im thinking about going SLi with my 560 Ti.. You need the same type of gpu with same amount of cuda cores to SLI. unless you can pick one up for under $150 you would be better off getting a GTX 660ti or GTX 670. 04dcarraherThis^
ok here is my problem..
Im going to be hooking up 3 monitors. at the moment my 560 ti would need to be in a SLi config to use 3 monitors. I Could pick up a extra card for around £100-£120
But then i thought about the 660 TI where i only need 1 card to run 3 monitors. i could pick one of these up for around £180 - £220. Could sell my old 560 and raise part The cash that way. The only problem is regarding the 660s memory interface of only being 192 bit which really struggles at and above 4X MSAA according to Toms Hardware. But the 560 ti has a memory interface of around 256 bit.
So should i just buy a 2nd 560 or sell my current 560 and get a 660 ti?
Processing power and memory>memory interface, if you dont plan on using multi monitor resolution gaming you will be fine.ok here is my problem..

my monitors will be used for gaming and i plan on using more than 4X MSAA setting
This is what Tom says abut the memory issue.

But at the same time if i go SLi 560 i wont be getting the extra performance as some games arnt really optimised for SLi
