I am emigrating from the U.K to Australia. In 3 days time the shipping company are packing all our things ready to ship over. This includes my gaming PC.

This is gonna be hard, i will be without it for weeks. I really don't know how i will cope.

Anyway, i do have a question. I am staying at my mother in laws for a few weeks before flying over, she has a pc but its low spec. Can i use my steam account on her pc and play Audiosurf to pass the time or would i need a new steam account and re purchase the game?

Ahh great. I was thinking about buying a 360 to pass the time, i have left my job now and have 4 weeks with not much to do lol. I'm sure i can manage on Audiosurf and some older games though. seems pointless to buy a 360 just for 4 weeks.

Why don't you play some of the older games on her PC? I'm sure it can handle:

Baldur's gate, Planescape, System Shock 2, Jedi Outcast + a buttload of quality adventure games. See this as an opportunity to catch up on some older classics or games you wish you played back in the day.

Well i own alot of older games but am shipping those with my pc. I may just go buy some i missed though. Not sure the wife will like it, even though they will be cheap lol. She thought she was gonna play WoW on her mum's pc, i lied and said it wouldn't run it lol, im so bad. I need my pc game fix though or i get cranky.

Yeah that's one thing I like about Steam, wherever you are, as long as you have internet you've got your games with you.

There are also lot of free titles around that aren't very demanding, both old commercial games and small indie games, plus demos and services like GameTap. Should keep you busy for a while.

Read some books, exercise, explore the new country and get at least 3 different women. It will make you a happy person.

Honestly..no big deal. I went without any type of computer for almost 2 months and I survived.
