Router between 3 people?

Hey guys im getting time warner cable in my new apartment and i decided to get a separate router between 3 of my friends. i personally like the asus routers like the black diamond. or i was thinking of getting this one http://www.amazon.com/RT-N16-Wireless-N-Maximum-Performance-single/dp/B00387G6R8/ref=sr_1_22?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1404772825&sr=1-22&keywords=router

im getting 20mbps up and 1 down.

Just tossing it out there, but you may want to look into the newer AC routers. You can "future" proof yourself a bit now in case you upgrade your speeds, and in the immediate time frame, benefit from its larger beaming radius. Nothing wrong with an N-router, but again, something you may want to take a look into.

Just letting you know more as info, the ASUS RT-N16 has the worst router software ever imaginable, it will hardly ever work...

You will have to put DD-WRT or Tomato on it for it to function basically, but after that, the router is outstanding, with about 25 devices connected, it hasn't ever complained or refused to work.
