I'm looking for a good gaming monitor that has 1440p resolution, 120hz or more, and g-sync. The best one I've found so far is the Asus ROG SWIFT. Anything cheaper than $800 that is as good if not better than this monitor?

Nope, that's the only one so far with 1440p resolution and high refresh rate - I wouldn't get close to that price unless it got 5 years warranty.
It's the only choice at the moment. Acer is coming out with an IPS panel version later in 2015. http://www.geforce.com/whats-new/articles/nvidia-g-sync-worlds-first-144hz-ips-monitor-unveiled
I am very happy with the Swift myself.
Nice, that's what I'll need to get. IPS and G-Sync is what I've been craving.
The Acer model has potential, but it is only 4ms response time. It will also be interesting to see how the IPS panel copes with 144hz without artifacting like the current OC models.
Acer model is 1ms unless are are thinking of another monitor

Nvidia said it was 4ms G-to-G. http://www.geforce.com/whats-new/articles/nvidia-g-sync-worlds-first-144hz-ips-monitor-unveiled
I hope that it is 1 ms as that is unheard of for IPS and would make me consider swapping my Swift. There is also talks that it is actually an AHVA panel, so there is a lot of misinformation. We will have to wait and see.
