thank you again for the great list  i already got one of the games listed on my wish list.  hopefully more games will be added to the list.

only thing im disappointed is I counted four mmos that will be released in 2007.  i dont care for mmos any longer because of force grouping you have to do with some of the quests.  until they make mmos to be standard in way less grind and making much more solo friendly, i might go back.  i had my problems with eq2 and lineage 2 when i was there.  you would wait for hours on a "safe" location waiting for a group just to gain some experience or to do a quest.  if i pay $15 a month i should expect to play almost all of the content avaliable.

tho the major plus with mmos is the continually addition content that does become added over time.  being with the community is fine, you get to chat with other players while you are doing your quest.

Wow the pc fanboys are still trying to justify spending 800 dollars a year on upgrades.  I think you may of had 5 titles in that list that I'll try. jrhawk42

Spore is supposed to be released later this year, not next year.

But 2006 and 2007 look like the best years for PC gaming in a long, long time. Hail the return of PC gaming! Instead of just sequels/spinoffs, like it's been in the past few years, the next couple of years look to bring us a good mix of sequels and fresh, original franchises.

Dont Forget "Command and Conquer 3:  Tiberian Wars" to come out in 2007, the first offical announcement starred in PC Gamer's magazine.  The only offical screens as of now are scans however.

Its a mixed reactioned feeling.  Knowing full and well that Petroglyph (old Westwood guys, AKA who made the other C&C games) wont be developing this, it looks like it could easily be a huge flop.

At the same time, the guy behind this at EA has shown HUGE community support, somthing that EA usually never does, and not to forget he is a HUGE fan of the series himself.  Because of this, it looks to be a faithfull sequal, and it will even have the FMV acting like the old ones did.  It really looks to be a "passion project", but without the orignal team, It might not be what it could of been.  Although, for the first half/quarter of its developemtn, before Petro was formed, the Westwood guys DID end up helping around its developement.  I hope it was a story board too that the Westwood guys did before they left, so atleast I know that the game's series wont be buchered again.

But this looks to be a worthy successor at the moment, espeically considering the lead developer behind this seems to have the "I dont want to screw this up" attitude for the grand fanalie to the Tiberian universe (doesnt mean C&C is over though, you can expect a Red Alert 3 too, to sum up the prolouge of the entire series).

      At first it seemed like 2006 would be a great year for vrai-RPGs, but now it seems like a lot of them are getting delayed and pushed back, Bioshock and Witcher being some examples.  Has Dragon Age officially been delayed until 2007 then?  I don't remember seeing any official announcements, though with Bioware thats always a possibility.greatatlantic
