Where did the list go? Gamesopot forums is giving me some real big troubles that bassicaly made me unable to update this thread. I've also tried other forum, but spambots flooded it with porn :D So I finally did what many people told me I should have done long time ago: I've moved the lists to blod. You can find them here:

http://adrianwerner.wordpress.com/

sorry for any annoyances the move might cause, but trust me, it's for the best :)

I wonder if DeepShadows will finish either PRecursors or BoilingPoint2 before STALKER is out :) I mean..they left GSC about 6 months after STALKER development started. If they manage to finish two games in less time than it took GSC to make one... that will be funny :)

[QUOTE="jrhawk42"]Wow the pc fanboys are still trying to justify spending 800 dollars a year on upgrades.  I think you may of had 5 titles in that list that I'll try.

We ask trolls to stay under the bridge, please comply with our request

We all pity you, jrhawk. As do your freinds, family, and sexual partners.

thank you again for the great list  i already got one of the games listed on my wish list.  hopefully more games will be added to the list.

only thing im disappointed is I counted four mmos that will be released in 2007.  i dont care for mmos any longer because of force grouping you have to do with some of the quests.  until they make mmos to be standard in way less grind and making much more solo friendly, i might go back.  i had my problems with eq2 and lineage 2 when i was there.  you would wait for hours on a "safe" location waiting for a group just to gain some experience or to do a quest.  if i pay $15 a month i should expect to play almost all of the content avaliable.

tho the major plus with mmos is the continually addition content that does become added over time.  being with the community is fine, you get to chat with other players while you are doing your quest.

cuz its not true.. y do you buy the 360? for better graphics??? thats ALL! all you buy it for... dont say better games because they can still go on xbox.. 360 is just like a giant video card to where you need to buy a NEW controller a HARDRIVE or MEMORY CARD then pay with ur credit card for xbl.. plus i spent 600 bucks on my comp and its damn fine comp.

SUPREME COMMANDER!

Thats all i want

And maybe that online warhammer thingo

#41 Posted by -AirHendrix- (2858 posts) -
k lemme tell you something buddy. OC could help the CPU alot by not buying another one if you really wanted too. Now, about a GPU upgrade..... they go down every year, the card you want is only 200 or less and you have to updrage that every 2 years, its not that bad man.
#42 Posted by bob_rulz (473 posts) -

Spore is supposed to be released later this year, not next year.

But 2006 and 2007 look like the best years for PC gaming in a long, long time. Hail the return of PC gaming! Instead of just sequels/spinoffs, like it's been in the past few years, the next couple of years look to bring us a good mix of sequels and fresh, original franchises.

Dont Forget "Command and Conquer 3:  Tiberian Wars" to come out in 2007, the first offical announcement starred in PC Gamer's magazine.  The only offical screens as of now are scans however.

Its a mixed reactioned feeling.  Knowing full and well that Petroglyph (old Westwood guys, AKA who made the other C&C games) wont be developing this, it looks like it could easily be a huge flop.

At the same time, the guy behind this at EA has shown HUGE community support, somthing that EA usually never does, and not to forget he is a HUGE fan of the series himself.  Because of this, it looks to be a faithfull sequal, and it will even have the FMV acting like the old ones did.  It really looks to be a "passion project", but without the orignal team, It might not be what it could of been.  Although, for the first half/quarter of its developemtn, before Petro was formed, the Westwood guys DID end up helping around its developement.  I hope it was a story board too that the Westwood guys did before they left, so atleast I know that the game's series wont be buchered again.

But this looks to be a worthy successor at the moment, espeically considering the lead developer behind this seems to have the "I dont want to screw this up" attitude for the grand fanalie to the Tiberian universe (doesnt mean C&C is over though, you can expect a Red Alert 3 too, to sum up the prolouge of the entire series).

SUPREME COMMANDER W00T!!!

BTW, dont forget to add Command and Conquer 3 (just announced today)

#45 Posted by AdrianWerner (27875 posts) -
I've added Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars and Frontlines: Fuel of War.
Also unfortunatelly Witcher has been moved into 2007 so it landed in this thread.

At first it seemed like 2006 would be a great year for vrai-RPGs, but now it seems like a lot of them are getting delayed and pushed back, Bioshock and Witcher being some examples.  Has Dragon Age officially been delayed until 2007 then?  I don't remember seeing any official announcements, though with Bioware thats always a possibility.
#48 Posted by Lazy_Boy88 (7418 posts) -
Yeah 2007 is going to be a huge year for PC and consoles alike. I'll definately waiting for the most optimal time and buy a new computer some time after Vista comes based on when a new gpu generation and processor line arrives.

Yeah :) but what the hell. TitanQuest, NWN2, Gothic3, Oblivion and Hellgate satisfy my RPG needs more than than enough :) Plus with so few other RPGs on horizon for 2007 delays will just ensure 2007 will be nice for RPG fans :) Anyway, with this genre I prefer devs to polish it up, so many games were "killed" by bugs: Vampire:Bloodlines, ToEE, Arcanum just to name the notorious (for their buggs) Troika works. I didn't care, I can live with bugs, but it kills sales :( And DragoNAge..that's what people seem to think on Bioware forums. Especialy since Bioware never actualy said it's going to be out in 2006. And apparenly it will be out after first MassEffect game is released :(
