^ Very nice set up. Air flow looks top notch along with everything else. I'd give it a 9 out of 10 just becuase it looks loud

TrentDondasKhan

looks loud? i figure you haven't seen mine :P

side on:

inside:

jyt

the sheer size of my TRUE
gsf

case sucks for hiding cables, but there is perfect airflow

dhf

TRUE is pressure modded, lapped, and has 2x 105 CFM fans on it, all fans on my case are over 100 CFM except the LED one

#152 Posted by beefdog (9176 posts) -

^^^^ Lol my friend has 2 or 3 kazes and its sooooo loud lol i turned mine down to 2000 rpms now cos i dont have a overclock on anymore (dont play games anymore due to more important things ;) )

Edit: oops those arent kazes lol oh well :p

#153 Posted by GTR2addict (11863 posts) -
there is a kaze mate, my exhaust fan is a 3000 RPM model (fortunately they're all hooked up to a controller), all the others are 120x38mm Evercool fans @ 2600 RPM, also on the controller
#154 Posted by ey_son (246 posts) -
[QUOTE="Too_tight_shoes"]ey_son did you unplug all the cables and photoshop the lights?!... :P 8/10 for the hardware and 9.99/10 for the looks.

hahaha i wish i were that good with photoshop, but thanks for the rating tight_shoes! and thanks to trooperpayne and slig0 for the comments! really appreciate it...

Heres my rig. Specs are in Sig. Sorry for the quality...

I like how the side fan is directly over my GPU. I'm gonna put an extra fan by the HDD

Q6600 is currently at 3.44 GHz, 430x8, with 1.312 volts, it loads @ a mere 52C on the highest core, 48 on the lowest with 21C ambients i'm gonna push for 3.6+ come winter

Dont know why people judge part ofa computer based on how the cables are set-up. I say as long as the cables dont affect the airflow of your rig they shouldn't matter

I heard the cable management in that case is teribble. is this true or cant you be bothered :P
#163 Posted by bartek21 (243 posts) -

Well the case is small and doesnt have the holes in the motherboard tray so you cant run the wires behind. So yeah compared to other cases the cable management isnt too good but also probably mine looks terrible cause I just havent bothered either lol

Specs are in sig. Sorry for the shoddy camera; I missplaced my camera this weekend and had to use my phone.

A lot of you have amazing setups, very clean rigs. I'll have to post pics of mine soon, but for now here is a little simple rundown of my PC:

Gigabyte EP45-UD3R
E8500 at 3.16Ghz OC to 3.8Ghz (mind my sig...says 3.6 which it is not)
4GB OCZ Reaper memory 1066
XFX 8800GT (thinking about upgrading even though all mygames run normalmax settings)
320GB HDD
600watt Ultra psu
Running Windows 7 x64

Nice Sunbeam case

Well any comments would be awesome. Posted pics in a post downbelow, past a couple in the way.

Yes I did, there is still no point to his post. He could have WAITED until the pictures were available until he posted.

No sense in making an invalid post.

he just wanted some comments, of which he got, one. Then he'll get more when the pics get on here. very simple, no need for the "NO PIC, NO RATING" BS. Everyone dose it still anyways.

mine has no fans and looks/performs better, nothing to divert airflow... it doesnt have any fans because... see for yourself:P there ISN'T a side panell window
#184 Posted by Snorbly (29 posts) -

What you lose on a side panel you made up for by fingerprints on the front.

Do you eat fried chicken while you mess with your computer?

I honestly don't understand why you pulled the side window off. Isn't that kind of like pulling all the windows off a car (including the rear one and the windshield)? if you're gonna have your internals exposed, why have a side panel at all?

^ a closed case creates an air flowNSR34GTR
It does, but generally an open case gets better temps just because there is more surface area for air to enter. Cases are generally only used for storage and protection of the internals.

what the other dude said. having my case open is not for looks, it's for performance, don't care about how it looks, care how it performs, and the panel on increased my temps by 4C

Don't think you're THAT into the cooling department. there are only 2 fans (105 CFM Eveecool's) with an empty 120x25mm shroud, this kind of fan has a MASSIVE dead spot in the center, the shroud concentrates most of the air and severely reduces the dead spot around the engine not to mention push/pull effectively DOUBLES the amount of air pressure going through the heatsink

@Sledge70, - clean look man, I was thinking about buying that case back when I bought the one I have now. Cujo31
I just wish the big 120MM fan in the back of the case had a shorter power cable and had an adapter to plug it into the motherboard. Outside of that the case stays very cool and has plenty of room if your not using dual GPU's that are as big as the GTX 295. I took out my 2nd GTX 295 as the SATA cables form the back of the HD's hit the card :(
#195 Posted by firedrakes (1479 posts) -

its not the amount of fans thats the issue it the weight the mobo is taking from it

Specs are in sig, but I'll repeat them here: -Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 G0 (8x400) -Sunbeam Core-Contact Freezer -8 GB (4*2 GB) G.SKILL DDR2-800 (960 MHz 5-5-5-15) -Galaxy GeForce 8800 GT 512 MB (700C/1600S/950M, and non-reference as you're about to see) -Auzentech X-Fi Prelude -Gigabyte GA-P35-DS3P Rev. 2.0 -Western Digital Caviar Blue WD5000AAKS 500 GB 7,200 RPM -some old Maxtor 10 GB drive that still works and I keep an alternate OS on -LITE-ON LH-20A1L SATA DVD burner -PC Power & Cooling Silencer 610 -ABS Tagan Black Pearl (with two Scythe S-Flex SFF21Fs added to the top two 120mm fan mounts, which are empty by default) -Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit As for the other peripherals: -Dell P1110 21" Trinitron CRT -crappy headphones/headsets that don't do my X-Fi Prelude any justice -IBM Model M 1391401 -Logitech G5 (2005 single thumb button revision) -Thrustmaster HOTAS Cougar, with a Force-Controlled Cougar mod installed in the stick -Thrustmaster RCS pedals with Hall sensor mod -NaturalPoint TrackIR 4 Pro -wireless Xbox 360 gamepad with receiver -Wacom Graphire4 4x5 -The hardware is almost two years old, and it shows... -I really need longer drive cables so that I don't have to route them in such a glaring, ugly fashion-that is, not behind the mobo tray or 5.25" drive cages. (Especially that PATA cable.) -The dividing plate between mobo and drive/PSU area really needs the holes closer to the motherboard rather than away from it. -If you're wondering what the second screen below the monitor is, it's an old HP TC1100 Tablet PC in its docking station. I use the desktop's keyboard and mouse to control it through Synergy.

ABS Tagan Black Pearl. Seems to be a rebadged Lian-Li PC-V2000 or similar case from that family, only reverse ATX and with a much lower price tag. It even had some nice discounts-US$90 on Newegg and US$100 on ChiefValue at one point, but that was a while back. (I missed the former deal, but managed to get in on the latter-and for US$100, it's hard to beat.) The typical non-promo-code price, last time I checked, was somewhere around US$130-140.

@sunny_945, Thanks bro! The one thing I had to get use to was how loud those 3 little fans are! I'm affraid if I go with a new set that pushes less air....the system well heat up....unless someone can help me out with a good set of fans that are a little quieter....
