Pc shutting down after 10-15 min

I am having a very weird problem.When i start the pc for the 1st time it shutdown itself suddenly after 10-30 min and once i start again it runs just fine,i checked cpu and gpu temp its all ok.What could be the problem i cant figure it out :(

Check for malware, if that doesn't help format and reinstall Windows.

Maybe your PSU isn't providing enough power to the system? That may seem unlikely though.

Inadequate PSU, bad RAM, or overheating are all good possibilities. Try running prime 95 while monitoring your temps and see what happens. Also check your HDD for SMART errors. Maybe try running Memtest 86.

Best way to check if it's the PSU is to run a fairly demanding game. It should turn off almost right away.

I remember having this issue.

I kept getting this issue until I switched to a different motherboard.

Not sure how it was the motherboard causing it but I know it never happened again once I replaced it.

if it's a software shutdown it's malware or updates

if it's a hardware shutdown (so no warning, just like power out) then it's your psu. Replace it

Sound like your CPU is overheating, can be caused by incorrect heat sink installation or faulty cpu cooling solution. go into BIOS and monitor your temperature, ideal normal range = 1-40C, anything above 50 you got check your cpu cooling again.

Two things: Either your PSU not giving enough power or something is overheating.

My guess would be PSU. What motherboard do you have? When my computer crashes because of excess power usage, ASUS shoots out a power surge warning.

I second this. I gave my older brother my first build and he had the exact problem you were having a year later. Auto-shutdown when power button was pressed then if you power it up again later it ran just fine. Later on it basically just stopped powering up. I took a look at it at his request and realized that the whole inside of the build had dust. The CPU stock cooler was filled with dust. I blew out all the dust, applied new thermal paste, and voila! It powered back up like a champ.

If your build is clean--check RAM (make sure it is still seated properly) or check CPU (make sure its seated properly with heatsink) or check PSU (it may be going bad). PSU is most likely the culprit if the insides of your case is clean.
