Is it ok for my PC to sit on the carpet?

Right now my case only has intake. One on the top and one on the rear. Once I complete my build it will have one more fan mounted close to the GPU forcing air away from it.

What are your guys' opinions on what I should.

If you got some PC on your carpet, rub it out with some seltzer water. Should take care of it.

Good case airflow IMO is front intake, rear exhaust is a must.

If you have an option to install top exhaust as well do it.

I'm new to this so bare with me.

Can I simply turn my fans around because these fans came already installed on the case.

I'm using a Zalman ms800

Take everyone's advice about the fans, but DO NOT put it on the carpet, it will absorb more dust and clog up.

Put it on the desk or worst case, build a small wooden box for some height.
