Is the graphics card and processor better? I kind of fail with computers so..sorry (x All the reviews I read on the cyberpower said it needed the power supply upgraded and possibly the graphics card so if the other build you linked is better (in graphics card, i realize the power supply is better..) i should be covered.. thanks for you help. :Dbasebob28processor on his is inferior. however its still more than whats needed for todays games. the gpu is like a private jet compared to your origional pick.
a good gaming computer is not about having the msot powerful of one part its all about balance and his achieves a very decent one, not perfect but a very good result all the same.
i approve his choice and dont recommend many alternatives to it
Everything is good except for the video card which is the most important.
With those specs you would need at least a Geforce GTX 660Ti or a GTX 670.

GT 620 is low end entry card. I hardly consider that to be a gaming pc with that kind of gpu.
You'd have to get a better PSU than the 350 watt psu it comes with to get a good graphics card like the GTX 660 ti to replace the GT 620. I feel it's rather expensive for a prebuilt. It's very misleading to the casual consumer. Shame.
Thanks, how does this look? http://www.ebay.com/itm/AMD-3-6GHz-GAMING-COMPUTER-DESKTOP-PC-COMPLETE-WITH-WINDOWS-7-HOME-PREMIUM-/121089125595?pt=Desktop_PCs&hash=item1c31796cdb Seems good but really cheap... I Keep finding good SOUNDING computers but dont know what to think.. Also what do you think of this one? http://www.ebay.com/itm/AMD-FX-4130-3-8GHz-Gaming-Computer-500GB-8GB-WIN8-FOUR-CORES-/121068130820?pt=Desktop_PCs&hash=item1c30391204GT 620 is low end entry card. The first thing I do is see what graphics card it has. That's the important thing for gaming. I check it against Tom's Hardware's chart ( cut and paste: http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/gaming-graphics-card-review,3107-7.html ). That chart isn't gospel, but it gives a good ballpark comparison. The HD 6570 with DDR3 is pretty weak. I don't consider it a gaming card at all. You could play less demanding titles on low settings with playable framerates.
Don't buy a pre-built, you WILL regret it when you learn more about computers, building your own is a much better option as you'll get a much better machine for a lower cost, even if it does take a little learning. That video card is absolutely terrible, and despite them labelling it as a gaming computer, it's everything but that.

At the moment it's pretty difficult for people to give recommendations because your budget is ranging from $300 to $900, what do you actually WANT to spend on this machine?
That GPU... Ouch. It's weak and it guarantees that you won't play Far Cry 3 at Medium to High. To be able to play it with satisfactory performance, you should get at least GTX 650.
Consider building a PC yourself. There are plenty of tutorials where you can learn about building PCs; it's easy really.

at the most $1000, Im looking for the better deals though (obviously) If I have to push $1000 a little then I guess thats okay.I am considering it but my laptop broke so now I have to use a slower computer that is hard to use as the rest of my family uses it.. I also know about nothing about computer parts... and what parts I need.. I could easily find out what parts I need , but do you have any recomendations on the processors and/or Graphics card(s)?That GPU... Ouch. Cyberdot
If you want sdomething thaT will last:
3570k
Z77 motherboard
8GB ram
1TB HDD
500w decent brand power supply
GTX 660 or 7870 (this is where you can choose to spend more, but these 2 are good value and good performance)
Case is up to you
Should be like $800, i'm not great with US prices.
intel processors are better than AMD ones. Â The first build you posted, that pc had a very strong cpu yet a gpu that is almost equal to the integrated graphics that are already present on the cpu. Â Why is the 620 geforce even being sold in a computer? Â Most probably to trick people. Â I would recommend the same build as the first one except, the cpu should be an i5, the gpu should be a 7770 or a 7750.
I'm also buying a prebuilt PC from best buy(I know I know -_-)Â
How is this one? Link
I5-3570kÂ
GTX 660 2gb
8gb ram @1333 (I think)
500 Watt PSU (Idk the brand probably generic)Â
ASRock H61M-HVGS/H61M-HVS (This Mobo is the only thing I'm worried about. Idk much about Mobo's)Â
Any help would be appriciated.Â
I'm considering getting this new computer for gaming... i'd like to be able o run demanding games like far cry 3 on medium-high settings... Core i7-3770K 3.5 GHz 8 GB SDRAM DDR3 1024 GB 7200 RPM Hard Drive NVIDIA GeForce GT620 2GB (not all that great with computers... haha.) link to the computer : http://www.amazon.com/CyberpowerPC-Gamer-Xtreme-GXi990-Desktop/dp/B009LFV95U/ref=amtcd_B009LTUDDU_B009LFV95U Please help! it will be much appreciated :Dbasebob28
i say pass on it and look for a better one. maybe try ibuypowerpc.com http://www.ibuypower.com/Store/AMD_FX_8-Core_Configurator get this one and change the videocard to a amd 7850, 7970 or an nvidia 660ti pe/oc, a 4gb gtx670, or a 4gb gtx680 and change the hard drive to a 500gig velociraptor
Â
that's what i would do.
Specs are ok, PSU probably sucks, motherboard is useless for overclocking.I'm also buying a prebuilt PC from best buy(I know I know -_-)Â
