powercolor will be coming out with the x1950pro AGP.

Your processor might be a slight bottleneck, but as long as you are playing at 1280x1024 or higher, it will be fine.

Nope nvidia's last agp card is most likely the 7800gs.

I doubt they will come out with another agp card.

Unfortunately, the sun is setting on AGP. I doubt that there will be any more fantastic GPUs on an AGP card.

I still think there will be a mid range dx10 card for AGP, its too big of an upgrade market for vendors to ignore.

There comes a time when you need to upgrade your components...the idea of a DX10 card with an AGP system is a sure sign of one of these times :|

Well, to be fair, it's not nVidia's choice whether or not to come out with a higher-end AGP card. I'm sure it wasn't their idea to come out with the Geforce 6200 PCI, but those of us who were stuck with just a PCI slot when it came out were sure happy it did. As long as a good number of people still have AGP slots, I think we'll see the occasional AGP card come rolling out from manufacturers (such as 3dfuzion [part of BFG]) that made the 6200 PCI.

Yeah, recently after my post back in Nov, I looked at the Steam Hardware Survery and changed my tune to: If there is money in the niche, they will put something there.

Though to be honest, there was talk at the time of the x1950pro being the last of it's kind.
