I have an Asus A8n32 SLi Deluxe motherboard, and have an AMD athlon 64 3700. I woud like to upgrade the processor but cant find a better one that works with the motherboard im not good with computers. Any help is apreciated thank you.
Unfortunately, if you want a new modern processor, like a Athlon X2 or Core 2 Duo/Quad, you are going to have to change the motherboard too: Socket AM2 for AMD and Socket 775 LGA for Intel.
Personally, I would recommend getting a decent Intel board and a cheap Core 2 Duo for now, then upgrade to a Quad core: at the moment I use a Gigabyte 965P-DS3 with a E4300 over-clocked at 3.3Ghz. You will have to check to see if you can still use your memory (I think yours may be DDR, not DDR2).
