Hi. As you might have known my old graphic card 670 GTX was dead. I kept having blue screens with error code 116 and graphic slow down at no matter what setting. I took it in to the docs and they did a test and it turned out to be the graphic card so I got a Asus 970 gtx 4gb and wow no slow downs and graphics on ultra. Far Cry 3 and elite dangerous which where the two main games I was playing at this time. Also as said about the HDMI to HDMI not working from day 1 of my new PC was not working, as soon as I got this back I tried HDMI to HDMI and walla pc booted no problem. So happy now. :D.

Also sorry for all the post I have done moaning :P.

The only thing is it seems to take 1 minute 24nds to boot and locks my keyboard out so cant get into bios. But seen other problems about the asus 970 gtx with slow boot. He said at first it was as long as 3 minutes 10nds until he did a couple of tweaks. I suppose locking me out of the bios is a good thing. The only reason I wanted to go in there was set my RAM to profile 1 as its normal default 1300.

@skipper847: Welcome back!

ps: Your RAM should use the default JEDEC speeds. Don't worry so much about it, unless you are running some memory depended programmes.

That's why I not been enjoying games lately. Its more enjoyable when running as it should with no crashes or slow downs. Even desk top as had no app crash explorer exe stopped working. that was probably due to graphic card dead. Felt the temperature behind the PC and was cool not like be for red hot. Only tried Far Cry 3 and Elite dangerous as these where the 2 games I was playing and having problems with the blue screen 116 code but that's all gone. touch wood. Looked at the temp on GPU tweak and its 32c idol (on desk top). In games max 64c ultra mfaa and x2 msaa at 1080p. My next item on the list is a 27" 144hz pc monitor And that's me done for year apart from games.
