i record tv with my laptop and when i play it back its not very loud. is there a way to record at a higher volume? or are there amplified headphones of some sort? any advice is appreciated

Double check your system audio settings; make sure the master volume, wav volume, etc are all set high. Using other programs, like winamp, etc may be leaving some of your settings low.

MCE has this problem with all systems from what I have read. Mine also has low volume with either recorded or live feed.

Thegreenbutton may have found a fix for it. Havent been there in awhile.
