What parts would you need to make a rig worthy of the medium-high graphics/playing tier for the newer games(not newest, just the ones that have recently came out/will come out)  and how much do you think the cost would be? Thanks

You can build a $900 rig and get med-high settings for most,if not all games.

december but i bought the parts earlier.  now it would cost prolly 700

Why didn't wait to save up more cash so you could get a better mobo and 2 gigs of RAM??? How did you get that E6300 to 2.6 on a mobo like that???

yea in your face is nice, mine costed under 600 and with ultra under 750$ and prob can play anything maxed out @ 1280x1024 with the ultra im getting

lol yea i bearly noteiced that, but y go coolermaster hsf? i say go tuniq T 120 or if u mean that new 2x120mm fan hsf i saw a min ago than thats a good cooler, everything is there ur next upgrades are fine, so after u upgrade all that stuff, i say go Q6400 next year and ur set for even longer

im goin with the cooler master basically cuz i wanted better cooling than stock but on the cheap.  i have no need for much better as it never gets very hot in here and my cpu currently idles at close to 32 degrees celsius.  yeah i am thinking if i dont have anything i especially want next year for chrismas ill pick up a quad

Oh,i'm sure you can reach higher than 2.6,and a TT120 is a better buy.

koo yea c2d doesnt require that much of good coolin so for 2.6ghz im thinking anything better than stock will do fine
