Hello, every one! My brother and I are looking for lan co-op games to play. But our system is not up to date so we need to find a low spec RPG, FPS, or RTS games. We would love to have RPGs with WASD controls. For FPS we would like games like Borderlands but low spec. For RTS anything would be fine we wanted to try it out cause we never played RTS. What we have so far: 1.Counter Strike: Condition Zero. 2.Battlefield 1942. 3.Minecraft. 4.Red Eclipes. 5.Serious Sam: The First Encounter. 6.Halo CE. 7.Control Monger. and if you need our system specs let me know thanks guys in advance!

Me and a bunch of pals from my youth group get together and play Age of Mythology with the expansion every now and again. It was the first RTS I took seriously, and is a blast with medium sized groups. We also experimented with TF2 and several mods for Gmod and have played some Age of Empires 2/3 and better yet, Left 4 Dead 2. If you have to run Left 4 Dead 2 at low on a reolution lower than yor monitor's native, it's still worth it. HIghly reccomend it.

Rainbow Six 3: Ravenshield (coop bot matches with objectives, ton of guns, ton of maps, TON of fun)

Swat 4 (same story)

Not a lot like Borderlands but you might want to give them a try.

For RTS we always enjoyed some CnC Generals, and sometimes Battle for Middle Earth.

Also Battlefield 1942 / Battlefield 2 with cooppatch 1.5 iirc, or the AIX2.0 coop mod are amazingly fun for coop fps action.

Triple posting for wins and laziness because I notced rpg was also in the title.. WoW can be the most fun you can have playing coop. Questing together, doing dungeons, exchanging items, leveling up and exploring... yeah I just wanted to throw that out there.

wow umm thanks guys suggesting these games for us. We have tried Raven Shield and Swat 3 we did not like the gameplay. But we will try Age of Mythology, CnC Generals, and Battle for Middle Earth. One last thing our computer can't even run TF1 so... i dont think we can run L4D. Thanks guys and keep up the good work with the list.

A good low spec RTS for lan is Age of Empires 2. My brother and I used to play it all the time.

Go to GOG.com and search their titles. I always wait for good deals and have bought myself some great games for dirt cheap.

RUNE, Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy.

These two games have been staples of my groups LAN parties for the past 6 years. Nothing beats them.

Lol no no we can run TFC but can't what so ever run TF1.

We have also tried many games and we did not like. For an example RUNE, Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy, and so on. But don't hate we don't like the gameplay for Kedi Academy only but we love battle front on the consoles. Anyway we got Warcraft 3 and we loved it, thanks ArchonOver for suggesting. XIII reminded me of Borderlands graphics so we will try that. Thanks guys once again for the list.

Heres a list of games you could check out: http://www.freelangames.net/p/games-index.html Ace of Spades is pretty sweet & you could probably run it (its an FPS) Lots of the others are old, so should be no problem there
