Hey guys, so I did play alot of modern FPS games like Battlefield, CoD etc... but im looking for something else, these games are good but they are mostly about war and warzones etc... Im looking more for a video game that can be more on the inside ( buildings, elevators, shafts etc... and not rly a war of some sorts, more like terrorists taking buildings and ur the one who needs to save the ppl, or some other form not necesarly terrorists ), or some unconventional places like hospital, train, airplane etc... think Die Hard movie style of things im talking about, or in gaming think more like tom clancy's rainbow six, or half life series etc.. more that style of games and settings as opposed to war like settings like CoD or Battlefield.

cliffs:

-looking for games in unconventional settings like trains, airports, hospitals, airplanes, inside buildings etc ( can be outside too ofc, but not wars and warzones etc )

-not looking for war games like CoD or Battlefield but other situations

- examples that i played before ( half life series, tom clancy's rainbow six, die hard nakatomi plaza ), I also rly like the puzzle aspect of half life.. but yea thats hard to find.

Chronicles of Riddick: Escape from Butcher Bay seems to fit the bill. It's sci-fi, no war-zones, takes place entirely in a prison complex on some desert planet. You'll love it. The only thing is - it's not about terrorism.

Oh like I said its not about terrorism, more like anything else than wars and warzones ( terrorism just seems to be the most popular and most widespread alternative thats why I gave the example ).

btw I checked some screens and vids, A VERY GOOD SUGGESTION!

SWAT 4 is a classic, especially when you are into Rainbow Six. F.E.A.R. also mostly plays in interiors. Condemned might also be of interest.

Have you played the older R6 games ? (R6/Rogue Spear/Raven Shield)

If not, I'd check em' out. The series was seriously casualized/dumbed down after those. Great games.

Agree with Butcher Bay & SWAT, both VERY GOOD, if you're going to try Fear, the original is the only good one really, 2 was meh & got it worse after that. Of the type of game you're looking for SWAT/RB6 is probably the closest fit & there isn't much else that's any good that I'm aware of.

others you could try

Hitman series

Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter

Splinter Cell Series

No one lives for ever 1 & 2

Also consider Hidden & Dangerous 2, yes its war but the setting.style (Tactical SAS style operations) & the freedom you get make it a must play. Its one of the best games I've played.

Doom 3 can also fit - everything is set in a space station on Mars.

Red Faction (the first one) - again, Mars. This time, though, a mining complex, caves and office buildings. Very similar to first Half-Life.
