Where's GLQuake?

Quake 3 >= Quake 1/World > w/e

It's basically the same game ported over.

I liked Quake Wars, it was clearly influenced (aside from wolf) Battlefield but better imo. Tighter, more focused.

I like the feel of the original quake, the atmosphere was great there. So its number 1

Quake 2 was fun too. So its number 2.

Quake 3 I never really got to play much, but I loved what Sonic Mayhem did with the soundtrack.. (people still think it was done by NIN for some reason) Can't rank it.

Quake 4 was not much quake to it imo. It actually blended too much with Doom 3, and Prey. I don't feel it set itself out as much as it should have. I think it comes in Last.

I cannot rank Enemy Territory, as I didn't get to play it much at all, just a handful of rounds, and I just didn't get into it then. So many other games then, and again now.

A lot of TF2 players love to pretend they're playing Quake. There are so many mods in TF2 where they change the guns sounds to Quake ones, e.g replacing the pyro flame with the LG hit beeps.

I wonder why Quake Wars isn't on steam? Probably some licensing bullshit.

Even if twas re-launched like Quake live: would have been. Just leaving it dead in the dust, wasteful.

I like Quake 2 followed by GLQuake. By the time Quake 3 came along I was burned out big time. I can't really blame myself. I was constantly playing LAN and (4-player) modem-modem MP nonstop starting with Doom, Doom2, Duke Nukem 3D, Quake, and Quake 2. I took a break in 1999 and missed out on Quake III and UT. The next time I resumed MP, it was BF1942.

Quake 3 Arena was my favorite, Quake Wars was my least favorite, I didnt like Quake 4 that much either TBH.

Quake 3 Arena by far my favorite and then Quake 2.

I thought Enemy Territory was pretty good, but it died a fast death... The same with Quake 4.
