Hey guys, I have a Samsung SyncMaster 913v (old) and this morning it just suddenly won't turn on. I've checked the wires and check if it was my computer but it my computer works with this older monitor I use. I don't think its a software issues since I can't even turn it on.. any ideas? Should I take it to best buy for an analysis or something? How do they work?

You could try a different power cord, but if it just doesn't turn on then it's probably dead. Nothing on your computer would keep your monitor from turning on, it might not get a signal, but it should turn on if it has power.

Why would they want a broken monitor? Even more unlikely, why would they pay you for it?
