Laptop Recommendation

Hey all,

I am looking for a laptop for my son that is 7. The games he will play are Minecraft and Roblox. He will also use it to watch videos.

I would like to get one in the 200-300 buck range and refurb would be fine. I know that's a low budget but he's 7 and not a huge game player.

Yeah last minute decision. Thinking about xbox live setup as well... We might just check out Craigslist or something.

Laptops under $300 Most of those will run minecraft (not sure of the chrome books) but you should just spend an extra 200 and have a machine that will actually do something for him as he gets older instead of turning into a paper weight the time he's 9-10.

@ribstaylor1: I am perfectly fine with the paper weight... I am hoping to have his desktop ready in the next year or so... We just don't have the room right now for another desk until we move into a bigger house.

a cheap laptop with a amd apu would be great for low end gaming

@osirisx3: Do you have any recommendations I am not huge into the laptop market... Like someone stated above really wish I knew about this during Black Friday or Cyber Monday.
