I tried to turn on my laptop, and it gave me an error saying "EFI Network 0 for IPv4 (28-D2-44-99-B7-8D) boot failed,"

I looked at the BIOS, and no hard drive was listed.

Lenovo G50 Laptop

AMD A8 6410 CPU, 6 gigs of RAM, 1TB hard drive.

It came with Windows 8.1, but I've been running the Windows Technical Preview (Windows 10 alpha) on a partition. Do you think that has anything to do with this? Has anyone else running the Tech Preview had a similar experience?

Well ask the technical team that is currently building windows 10. The whole reason the technical preview is there is for people to give them feed back on the operating systems and it's problems. It's not meant for your everyday users, but for people in the tech industry, so unless your testing it out to do videos on it, learn how it works or give feed back there is zero reason for you to be running it.

Edit"missed the bit on the partition. Look up the error code if it doesn't pop up ask the technical team.
