Coming in 6 hours...who's ready for this?

I don't do early access
I'm not a huge fan of them either but killing floor is a very safe bet that you'll get a stable game that's well worth the money.. Even if you don't play it buy the early access now and save 30 bucks.. I'm guessing the game will be 59.99 when the full version drops.

I highly doubt there will be a price difference.
So what's the price?...
I thought the game was going to be free to play?
$30
Yeah... I'll get it once its released.

Yeah... I'll get it once its released.
It will be the same price at launch as early access so there's no benefit to getting it now...besides the fact you get to play it. I'll let you guys know how it plays :)
EDIT: Just played a match. The content given so far isn't bad - it's on the light side for sure but it's definitely enough for me to sink some hours into. Some thoughts....
The graphics? Fantastic. The gore lived up to my expectations. As the waves progress, the level becomes painted red with blood and bodies seriously pile up on the floor. My only disappointment is that only FXAA was the only included AA option - would like to see SMAA implemented. One thing I like is the customizable player models - which alleviates the repetition of the player models. Seems fairly optimized. Runs very smooth (~60 FPS) at 1440P with maxed settings on my GTX 980 and i7 930.
The audio? The enemies sound more ferocious this time around, and just a bit more intimidating. The guns sounds great. The music is pretty good - I really like the soundtrack's attempt to mix of metal and techno - unfortunately the dumbasses employed the use of really bad Christian metal. It's barely even metal - let alone relating to any other form of appreciable music. HUGE thumbs down for that. There are a few good non-Christian metal tracks but unfortunately they included multiple bad metal tracks. I'm not sure what they used in the previous game but it's a step down in the music department.
Gameplay? Very, very fun. I can't wait until the rest of the content is included. The new guns are a blast and the boss included in this beta is badass (though a bit of a pushover).
I don't think it's worth the price right now. $40 for 3 levels is a bit overpriced, it should have been cheaper imo. Maybe make it cheaper for early adopters and raise the price later once it has more content.
Wait for a sale or more levels.

$30 you mean? :p
Regardless - if you get this and you're expecting $30 of content, you'll be sorely disappointed. If you're looking to put a pre-order, play finished polished content early, and give feedback and suggestions on the development process - this isn't bad at all. I'm easily going to get a dozen hours out of this. It's comparable to an expanded demo. The maps included are pretty nice, visually pretty, and have lots of sections to fight in.
For people with beefy rigs, be sure to go into the KFGame.ini and turn up body, blood pool/splatter, and gore count. It's worth it.
Why have they put crosshairs in?
It's optional, defaulted off. I like having crosshairs.
Why have they put crosshairs in?
Because aiming down the sights in Killing Floor was terrible. It's still pretty bad in KF2.
I don't do early access
Even for games you were going to preorder or buy at launch anyways?
If you pre-ordered Witcher 3, and the first 6 hours of the game was made available to be played a month early, you'd still wait for launch?
I'm having fun with the game, there's no sharpshooter class yet which is unfortunate. I always thought the commando class was never very good.

wat
So, some servers modded their files so they have up to 24, 32, and 64 players at once. I was in a server earlier with about 30 other people. Good times.
Meh, I'll pass on Beta testing. I'll get it when it's good and working like it should.
It works great, just needs more content
Mkay, thanks for Beta testing. I'll just wait for more content then.. :P
Having fun playing a game isn't beta testing :p
I can't imagine you guys if you were hired on for actual videogame play-testing
"What? You guys aren't going to pay me to play the game and have fun at my own leisure? I thought that's what this early access shit was all about!"
lol
I'm going to wait till the games released and has more content. I'd rather the game be fresh and new to me when I have access to all of the content rather than having been playing it for months when I finally get access to it all.

Not a bad idea. There's going to be a lot to get out of it. The way it's shaping up, it's going to be a steal at $30. I don't have that sort of patience though.
I'm glad I sprung on it, I'm getting a lot more out of this than I thought I was going to. The game's godly. I can see myself getting a good 50+ hours out of the early access alone - and I already have more hours than this than I put into the first Killing Floor. If I get bored, I'll just play when they add more content and pick a different perk. But servers are already throwing custom maps and config files into the mix, so things are already getting extra interesting for me. I just played a map based on a level from Goldeneye with a ton of players and it was pretty damn cool. It's possible we'll have a ton of usermade maps, weapons, and perks before the full release is even out.
For anyone who's on the fence - get it. Tripwire has outdone themselves. The gameplay is extra addictive compared to the first game even with its limited content offering.
