- Can i get 4K 60Hz with this tv.

- Wil my pc handle the resolution.

- I have read somewhere problems with 4K tv's that has to do with 4-4-4 or 4-4-2( i dont now WTF that is).

my pc:

Intel i7 3770 3.4 GHZ

Nvidia GTX 670 2gb OC

A) Waste of money, get 50' and above with 4K resolution

B) Your PC is not good enough to run games on 4K resolution

you need the lg ub850v and above to get 4k60fps... which is the one I own and I think any card 700 series and below you will get 4k60fps with lower settings of course but it will be with a lower color bandwith. also you need a card (900 series) with hdmi 2.0 output and the tv hdmi 2.0 input to get full color 4k 60fps

edit. and yeah that tv you linked only does 30 fps at 4k

to be honest id just get a good 27" 1440p 144hz monitor with a gtx 970 and call it a day... I kinda wish I waited on the whole 4k thing im still waiting on 4k blurays dang it

@rogelio22: puffffff almost bought it. Yes i will upgrade to GTX970 if im 100% that it wil work with my Acer predator g3620. Monhts ago i asked it here but nobody was sure if it wil work or not so im waiting maybe for a new build, and 27" 1440p 144hz is nice but i can't go back from 42 to 27 it will be to small.

Even two 970's wouldn't be enough for 4K. But two 970's will be good for 1440P.

@cimbom1993: if youre using a gtx 670 now than your pc will be more than compatible with a 970 since it is more power efficient

@insane_metalist: i have 2 970s now and they work fine at 4k... Jus have to turn off aa i also turn off hbao, dof, motion blur and other useless settings to keep a constant 60fps.

Just i dont think the 970s are future proof for 4k

@rogelio22: Thats not the problem, the problem is Acer motherboard don't allow hardware chanches outside ram.

yeah ive had a bad a experience with a prebuilt myself got one from Ibuypower a few yrs ago because it was the same price at the time as if I would build it myself but in less than a yr it burn out. sent it back and got my mobo and gfx card replaced "570" but in about another 5 months it burnt out my mobo and gfx card again! and guess what it was? the cheap ass power supply doing it. so I salvaged the 2500k, hdd and disk drive and rebuilt the whole thing, threw in a 770 (recently upgraded to 2 970s) and its been working wonders ever since and I cant stop feeling satisfaction that I put it together myself even got a new case! really easy to do
