Hey guys

Just bought a PC for gaming and wondered if there is actually anything I would need to upgrade as I am getting lower FPS in some games than others e.g. COH2 I get 35 FPS on average whereas Metro Last Light I get 45.

Specs:

AMD Bulldozer FX-4 Quad Core 4130 3.80ghz

AMD 760G DDR3 Motherboard

MSI HD 7770 GHz Edition 1024MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card

Kingston 2x4GB DDR3 1600MHz RAM

Anything else you would need to know to help me out?

Thanks guys really appreciate this. Just converted to PC gaming from Console and want the best experience!

Oliver

Don't worry bout CoH2, it's optimization is crap.

If you'd run Last Light on 45 you're good to go, it's one of system hog games.

For future gaming go with something higher like the R9 280X, GTX760, but as for now I think you can run most games on med high.

Its an entry level gaming rig better then the old PS3 and 360 and good enough for a decent experience in most games currently coming out but not better then the new consoles you need to upgrade both the cpu and gpu to compete with them in "next'-gen" games. The gpu is most important so upgrade that first but to prevent being bottle necked by your cpu in games and get a complete upgrade you need a stronger cpu as well you can swap out your cpu for one of amd 8 core processor as for the gpu I wouldn't go lower then a 4gb gtx 760 or the R9 280X. Your 8GB of ram is fine for the time being.

Your computer should be fine. It's a mid-range PC, though in the next couple years, you'll have some upgrades in sight. :)

@pitbull0123: I think you need to erase the replays folder or something, can't really remember since my friend told me this over conversation on Skype while he was playing it.
