I can screw in only one of the screws. I can't get the other screw in no matter how hard I try.
Is it okay to leave it as is, or do I have to get the drill out?

Should be fine, one of my gpus is the same and it's fine
Okay cool
Rather play with my new GPU instead of messing with a drill.
If your talking about screwing the bracket into the case , one screw is fine, and if you a have a toolless case those plastic clips can make up the slack.
As long as the heatsink makes contact with the GPU, you are ok.
Just keep an eye in GPU's temps :P.
I once had a heat problem with Q6600 and the reason was that one screw wasn't screwed well...
think ur confusing GPU with CPU ;)
And why do you think I confused them? oO

He's talking about his graphics card and the two screws on the side, of which only one is sufficient to hold the card in its place.

Oh, I thought he removed the heatsink from the GPU in order to place an aftermarket one (air or water).
I didn't realise he was talking about the screw(s) that was/were holding the Graphics Card to the motherboard/case.
