i5 3570 vs i7 3770

Hello, I'm currently looking to upgrade my computer and I wanted to know if I should go for the i5 3570 or the i7 3770. Price is not an issue.

Okay, so you guys think I should go for the i5 3570? or is there another option within that price range that maybe is better?

I don't do rendering/encoding, only gaming.

An i5-3570k over either of them.

The difference is more cache and hyperthreading on the i7. If you can afford i'd go with the i7. It is true that hyperthreading won't give you much help in games since games aren't highly threaded, however that extra cache can especially if you overclock.
