Okay I'm going to be that guy that says buy the parts and build it yourself. You'll save a decent amount of money and have a system that is far beyond what you have there. Pcpartpicker.com is your friend. Doesn't let you put things together that don't work and it has just about every part out there with prices for it from every major online retailer. Now for the parts and computer you listed, it's horrible. Not very good for the price at all. Give me a moment I'll build you one for the price you seem to want to spend.

That PC is REALLY overpriced for what it is, I'd take a look on Newegg and see what they've got because I literally just clicked on the first page of PC's there and found this which has much better specs for the same price.

EDIT: Oh yeah, that's for a prebuilt only, like the other guys said, building your own is the best way to go. They might look complex but PC's are really simple to put together.

TC Here you go, good prebuilt gaming Pc with an i5,8gb and GTX 760 for only $810

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16883258065

I would also pick up a couple 120mm fans for side panel (intake) and rear(exhaust) of the case since the case only comes with one intake fan

Pc I built for $1000 on pcpartpicker. I made it a micro atx case so it's small. I know it doesn't have a keyboard and mouse but you could drop the GPU for something not so beefy and be able to afford the mouse and keyboard under the 1000 dollar mark. Honestly if you can put lego's together use a screw driver and read a manual you can put the thing together. Youtube makes it super easy now a days as well, so many videos on how to put it together.

No sir, you're the one that must be joking on us, did you even watch my post? I've built you a better gaming rig with your price budget.

Either you're trolling us or something is very wrong with you.

According to the links you provided shows the desktop $780 and the GTX 750ti $170. Also to point out that desktop you linked is mediocre for the price, I would double check yourself, And you complaining about a $810 vs your "$750" is only $60 more and more to the point that $810 system is 2x faster.

@PredatorRules 1st I'm not a sir! ( I'm female! ) 2nd I'm not trolling! 3rd $1,000 is NOT my price budget. and it looks like you're repling for Ribstaylor1. Thats one of the prices I seen on this blog! You the one with problems!

Even for $750 its not that great.... Please spend a tad more and get something( the $810 system I posted) that will last you longer and will give you a better price to performance ratio. The cpu and gpu alone are roughly 2x faster then your selection.

The PC you linked in your OP is $779 and the much better PC PredatorRules linked is $772. What's so hard to understand about this?

@ritsukoblue: Okay so you list what is close to an 800 dollar pc and want to buy 150 dollar GPU to add on it then bitch when I give you a pc at the 1000 dollar price range in which you basically all ready were at with what you posted. You want cheaper don't go for a 280x instead get a 270x and drop the the better quality parts like the black hardrive for cheaper lesser quality ones and get rid of the blue ray drive. Toda!!!!!! You now have a build for around 800 that is a hell of a lot better then what you posted.

If you don't trust your hand at building it yourself, like I did, go to Micro Center. They'll match all of NewEgg's prices and construct the PC for -- I think -- an 80$ fee. You'll get much better bang for you buck. Plus, Acer is a terrible brand.

I would rather do something like this.

The refurb computer with the cheapest price ($590) plus the video card puts you at $750.

I would rather pay $60 more and get the desktop with a much faster CPU and a GPU that's significantly better.

If you had planned on getting the desktop now and wait for the GPU later than there's still better options..... (you can get an i5/FX-6300 or higher refurb on newegg for less than $500)

Its actually not that hard (xboxone with tax and a year of online is $600).

I just did a build for a friend and he paid $650 for a complete system (tower + windows) and he has an Eight core AMD FX CPU, 8gigs of ram, and a GTX 670 that overclocked to stock 680/280x performance (he has 2-3x the CPU power and over twice the GPU power as the xboxone on for $50 more). Plus he got $100 in free games.

If building isn't an option then you can get a refurb phenom X4 computer for $250-300, slap a midrange GPU (and maybe a new powersupply if your worried about amps) and beat the xboxone for the same price.........

Please don't talk what you don't know

GPU you "listed" is weak.. might want to build your own for same price with much better components.

Right, $580 for a PC that isn't capable of gaming...

Getting a whole PC refurbished is a really bad idea - I wouldn't consider that option. Maybe get the GPU refurbished at most, but not the whole PC.

@PredatorRules: two words: no overclock

intel cpu's love overclocking and they do it well. to rob him of that ability is to deny him life extension when he wants to play games in the future. if your going to use an h81 chipset board for the love of odin do not give him a 4670k, 4570 or 4550 is the highest id go.

I see you love Odin, but I did not recommend him 4670K I've recommended him the none K version, and BTW high end i5 CPU could last good for over 3 years of gaming, I know so because I've owned i5 750 for a very long time.

@PredatorRules: your speaking to a guy with a gen 1 i7 dont attempt to educate me on the longevity of cpu's. and tbh with you nobody really need anyhting more powerful than a phenom II x4 still. i mean really really needs it for gaming. in fact you can almost get away with an athlon II x4 or early gen core 2 quad

I still use a Q6600 in my secondary PC for light gaming, sure it isn't getting 120fps in BF4 but it does great in Borderlands 2 and Skyrim.
